At the time of a crisis, information is urgently and rapidly needed in order to support relief operations. The Crisis Management and Operations area provides services addressing the time periods before, after and during a crisis, and their associated requirements:
Before a crisis: Planning and preparedness for high-risk areas
During a crisis: Rapid mapping in support of rescue and relief operations
After a crisis: Post-event damage assessment and reconstruction activities.
