Migration and Border Monitoring
Migration and Border Monitoring
The domain Migration and Border Monitoring puts a focus on the monitoring of border regions, migration routes, settlements and population movements. This includes the observation of border crossings and related infrastructure along the borders, as well as the monitoring of long range migration routes and of settlements along the routes.
All products offered by the Migration and Border Monitoring pilot services aim at providing monitoring and surveillance services and to support situation awareness in border areas and in areas and/or along routes subject to migration and temporary settlement/urban extensions.
The products provide a significant intelligence and decision support in order to help stakeholders involved in issues related to border control, migration and (temporary) settlements.
