First G-MOSAIC User Workshop
Why?
This First G-MOSAIC Workshop is framed within the set of actions addressed to the G-MOSAIC Users Community to gain a deeper and global understanding of all the GMES security related services developed within the project services through expert and high level panel discussions on users needs and feedback on G-MOSAIC products, and to provide hands-on experience of the tools developed by the partners.
The main objectives of this event are the following:
- increasing awareness about the value of Earth Observation data for security applications.
- enlarging the knowledge and upgrading the capacities on new technologies for geo-information products.
- showing the added value of the GMES security services for the decision making and managing actions.
Who should attend?
This is event is directed at representatives from institutions and organisations involved in security-related activities: European Union institutions, Member States National Ministries, Intelligence Centres, Armed Forces and international as well as national civil organisations (NGOs in particular). For this reason, the event has been prepared with the objective to encourage interaction and fruitful dialogue between security stakeholders and G-MOSAIC consortium partners as well as within the User Community itself.
